Sales Leaders, with no easy way to share.
Avon's Sales Leaders needed a straightforward way to share content — with the Representatives they lead, with customers, and with their wider teams. I designed Avon ON, an iOS and Android app built specifically for that job.
The most innovative part of the app wasn't a feature Avon built for Sales Leaders — it was giving them a way to let their own content do the selling.
I mapped the user journey using Overflow to understand how Sales Leaders, Representatives, and customers would actually move through the app's interactions and flows before committing to a design direction.
I designed Avon ON as an all-in-one mobile companion for Representatives worldwide — a way to run their business, share brand content, and grow their network, all from one app. Four features carried that job:
Representatives place orders from digital brochures, any time, day or night — no waiting for a desktop or a paper catalogue.
A space to build posts and share brand content across social channels, so Representatives didn't have to piece campaign assets together themselves.
The most innovative part of the app: a three-step UGC flow. Take a photo of your product, add a branded frame, and share online with #avongram — turning a Representative's own content into a selling tool.
The latest products, promotions, and news pushed directly to Representatives, instead of relying on them to go looking for it.
Prototype showcasing how users can share content with other Sales Representatives.
Avon ON grew from two pilot markets to global scale — every market adapted to its own needs, with one system underneath holding it together.
